TFTP-PTRM: Production Trimmer

Team member's role
and responsibilities:
- Ensure that parts being forged are trimmed
properly by developing the right technique in terms of handling,
placing, and trimming hot forgings as instructed.
- Trimmer operator must also be available to relieve other crew members in various tasks involved in forging operation.
- Produce a good trimmed part.
- Report
to hammerman or Production Supervisor about any problems that involve
the trimming process, such as misalignment of tooling, not keeping up
with hammerman, or any other problem that may affect the quality of the
trim.
- Help hammer crew in set-up procedures as well as any other activities required when hammer is down.
Rookie requirements:
- Complete training modules HMSU, HCRW, PNHT, and TRAC within 120 days of employment.
Physical activity
involved:
- Prolonged periods of standing.
- Some
pulling and lifting of hot forgings; occasional lifting and pushing
wheelbarrow with hot scrap; any lifting over 50 pounds use crane or
hoist or ask for help.
