Objective: Understand all activities required to have a clean and organized working area. Understand the importance of having the proper tools close at hand to have a set-up done with minimal delays.

Syllabus:

• Hammer Crew Safety, training module HMCS.
• Watch two set-up films in the training room to have a feel for the types of activities involved in a set-up. 
• Watch a film explaining how we trace and identify parts, training module TRAC.
• Have a foreman or hammerman point out the remaining tasks that should be initiated when a hammer is down.

Completion: Sign off by teacher that employee has been instructed and understands what is expected of him.
