TFTP-PHLP: Production Helper

Coach(es): Hammerman, Production Supervisor (Foreman), or Production Leadman, or other senior employees within the crew.

Team member's role and responsibilities: 

• Downtime activities: clean area around hammer, replenish liners, replenish lube, gather tools and equipment that will be needed for the next set-up, sweep, empty scale and flash wheelbarrows as needed, etc. (Tools: Keydriver/shield, air gun, air hose, lube bucket, tongs, sledgehammer, etc..)
• Runtime activities: blow scale, swab dies with lubricant, any other needs that hammerman expresses. 
• Inspect a part for stamping and visual imperfections prior to break.
• Aquire new skills within the hammer cell and corresponding responsibilities. (At a Coaches discretion)
  
• Be readily available to carry out tasks related to clean up and preparedness around working area.
• Help make the crew more efficient.
  

Rookie requirements: 

• Review the HCRW, HMSU, PNHT, and TRAC training modules within 120 days of employment.

Physical activity involved: 

• Repetitive lifting of up to 50 pounds; any lifting over 50 pounds use crane or hoist or ask for help. 
• Bending, pulling and pushing, lifting wheelbarrow, some climbing.
