TFTP-QSVS: Quality Control (QC) Supervisor

Team member's role
and responsibilities:
- Provide expertise and understanding of the "Quality Culture" that must be spread throughout the plant.
- Assure that no bad part is shipped.
- Train
and educate personnel under his/her responsibility on all aspects of
Quality Control, such as use of measuring tools and theoretical
understanding of SPC.
- Implement QC plans assigned by QA Manager.
Rookie requirements:
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- At
least three years of experience in Quality Control and/or Metrology
and/or five years of forging background, including familiarity with SPC
concepts, instrumentation and communication ability.
- Thoroughly familiar with TOP-QCTRL.
- Complete training modules HOTI, COLD, MATH, CHRT, MEAS, TEMP, PRNT, STAT, COIN, PRTC, FSAT, GDTT and FAIN
- Complete visual acuity testing.
Physical activity
involved:
- Be able to lift parts weighing from a few ounces
to 50 pounds; any lifting over 50 pounds use crane or hoist or ask for
help.
- Frequent walking through the shop; prolonged standing.
- Some bending; some lifting of steel forgings with tongs..
- Exposure to heat.
