TFTP-BPRO: Machining Department Programmer

Team member's role
and responsibilities:
- Assist and review
customer’s specifications and ensure that machining department can meet
customer's requirements
- Work closely with
engineering department to ensure forgings meet our machining
needs
- Develop programs that help
machining division make efficient use of manpower and
equipment
- Facilitate the flow of work
in the machine shop by programming equipment accordingly
- Be the steward of the
company's CAM files and programs
- Coordinate with all
departments in the successful completion of machining orders
- Constantly strive to
improve efficient use of equipment through best selection of tooling
and machining methods
- Review and become familiar
with the company's TOPs Manual, especially all TOPs related to this
team position
Rookie requirements:
- High school diploma or GED
and minimum of three years of programming experience in machine shop
environment
- CAD/CAM experience a
definite plus
- Complete training module
FSAT
- Complete PROG training
module within 90 days
Physical activity
involved:
- Moderate walking
- Extensive periods of
sitting and working in front of a PC
