TFTM-QSYS: Overview of Quality System

Objective: To educate employees about the quality system and its significance to all employees.

Syllabus: One session with an overview of the company’s quality system and how each individual plays a role in upholding Trinity Forge & Machine as a top-quality manufacturer. Discuss:

  • What is the Trinity Forge & Machine Quality Manual? (Focus: mission and quality policy).
  • What are our Quality Objectives?
  • What are Trinity Operating Procedures (TOPs)? How do I access and translate them?
  • How do I affect the quality of Trinity's products?
  • Who might get hurt if we shipped bad products? (Me? Customer? Innocent children?)
  • What do I do if I think there is a risk of producing bad products? (TOP-NOCON)
  • Why is Trinity so big on ethical behavior?

Completion: Sign off by teacher that employee has been instructed about the quality system and shows evidence of understanding.
