Team member's role and responsibilities: 

• Manage all inventories of raw materials, customer supplied materials, consumables, packaging materials, and finished goods 
• Oversee the procurement of raw materials as needed to fulfill customer's required specifications for production orders 
• Oversee the consumables, packaging materials, and outside services as needed by the company 
• Oversee the creation and turnover of finished goods inventory 
• Oversee the finished goods that are stocked or consigned for contract customers 
• Oversee price negotiations with vendors and monitor material pricing for quotations 
• Collect and assimilate forecasts, MRPs, etc. from customers to be used for long term inventory planning 
• Coordinate the solicitation and approval of raw material and subcontract suppliers 
• Oversee the scheduling of the plant
  
• Become familiar with TOPs related to job

Rookie requirements: 

• Minimum of 10 years' experience in purchasing, customer service, and scheduling 
• Management experience 
• Proficient in use of computer 
• Experience in working with computer spreadsheets 
• Complete training modules TRAC and FSAT

Physical activity involved: 

• Extensive periods of sitting while entering data into PC 
• Some walking and climbing stairs
• Limited business travel
• Some time spent in shop environment - in steelyard to verify inventory and to rectify paperwork problems involving raw material inventory
