Definition:

Document that decribes the steps needed for processing, outsourcing, and inspecting during the manufacturing of a product. Master Router represents the standard for a particular product, whereas Job Order Router is a copy of the master with one-time adjustments for a particular order of that product. Used in conjunction with BOM, which specifies the materials used. 

Printed as Traveler which "travels" with job through the forging process for forged parts, through the inspection process, any release to outside processing by approved vendors, through the machining process, and though the final and shipping steps.

Format: M2M and paper (ultimately scanned then discarded).

Retention: Server Backup.
