Definition: Email-based document for addressing deficiencies, risks, and projects. The name 'report' in the name is strictly traditional carry-over from pre-computer days. Project-oriented CARs are often referred to as "PARs." The processing and archiving of CARs are done from a shared email directory referred to as the CAR Control File.
