Definition: 

Document that tells what tooling and material is needed to make a part; the diameter, size of the material, and if a stud weld is needed. Master BOM represents the standard for a particular product, whereas Job Order BOM is a copy of the master with one-time adjustments for a particular order of that product. Used in conjunction with Router, which describes how to process the material. 

Printed as Pick List, communicates the need for materials and to allow the issue of these materials.

Format: M2M and paper (ultimately scanned then discarded).

Retention: Server Backup.
