Desired experience

• Must know how to use and read a tape measure
• How to use calculator
• Shear cutting experience
• Practice good housekeeping
• Be good at keeping up with paper work
• Follow safety policies and procedures
• If no experience with the following we will provide training (band saw cutting, carbide cutting, fork lift operating, overhead crane operating).

Team member’s role and responsibilities:

• Carry out tasks assigned by Leadman with the main goal being to keep every hammer supplied with cut steel.
• Have a clear understanding of the cutting ticket instructions.
• Retrieve the appropriate steel and cut the exact length and number of pieces.
• Help unload, paint, and identify incoming stock using overhead crane.
• Maintain a work area free of any debris.

Physical activity involved:

• Extensive standing, bending, lifting of pieces of steel, repetitive motion for stacking steel pieces.
• Extensive walking and some climbing.
• Be able to lift parts weighing from a few ounces to 50 pounds; any lifting over 50 pounds use crane or hoist or ask for help.
