TFTM-MATL: Steelyard Cutting Material Control

Objective: To learn to read and interpret a cutting ticket; to understand the importance of material control.

EMPHASIS PLACED ON:
bullet The importance of cutting tickets
bullet Cutting tickets must be filled out for all steel that leaves the steelyard or use Inventory Adjustment Ticket
bullet Cutting tickets must be done accurately and in a timely manner

Syllabus: Two sessions explaining the information contained in a cutting ticket and how critical information on the ticket must be recorded for purposes of material control.

Completion: Sign off by teacher that employee has a good understanding of cutting and material control.
