Syllabus:
Maintenance man telling how induction heating work in general. | |
Maintenance man giving tour of all of company’s units, explaining the components of each one and how it should be operated | |
Experienced induction heater operator telling in detail how to operate the particular unit the employee is expected to be assigned to most. | |
Experienced induction heater operator demonstrating how to check studded billets for proper welding by hitting studs with a hammer and looking for separation. |
Completion: Sign off by both teachers that employee understands the material presented and is ready to operate induction heaters under a closely-supervised basis.
Notes: Abbreviated step 2 needs to be repeated as new styles of induction heaters are introduced into plant.
