Objective: To focus on the critical nature of forging prints, primarily, but not limited to stamping and customer specified critical dimensions. Also standardization and review of same.
Syllabus: One session explaining print notes and customer specified critical dimensions.

Stress the important role of the engineers to production relative to prints. |

Understanding of basic stamping/marking principles and terminology. |

The need to state method of stamping, location of stamping, the correct size of stamping and required stamping. |

Review of prints created by fellow engineers. |
|
Communicating critical dimensions to person responsible for entering data in SPC. |
Completion: Sign off by teacher that employee has been instructed and has a good understanding of the print stamping and review.
