TFTM-EGPR: Engineering Print Review

Objective: To focus on the critical nature of forging prints, primarily, but not limited to stamping and customer specified critical dimensions. Also standardization and review of same.

Syllabus: One session explaining print notes and customer specified critical dimensions.

bullet Stress the important role of the engineers to production relative to prints.
bullet Understanding of basic stamping/marking principles and terminology.
bullet The need to state method of stamping, location of stamping, the correct size of stamping and required stamping.
bullet Review of prints created by fellow engineers.
bullet Communicating critical dimensions to person responsible for entering data in SPC. 

Completion: Sign off by teacher that employee has been instructed and has a good understanding of the print stamping and review.
