Team member's role
and responsibilities:
- Use laser scan arm to scan dies, tooling, casts, parts, patterns, and equipment
- Save scan files to network location
- Move dies, tooling, casts, parts, patterns, and equipment from one area of the shop to another
- Visually inspect dies, tooling, patterns, and equipment for defects such as cracks, pitting, and severe rusting
- Maintain daily contact with Production Schedulxx regarding scan priorities
- Maintain daily contact with Engineering Asisitant regarding completed scans
Rookie requirements:
- High school graduate
- Basic computer knowledge
- Complete Faro Arm training module
- Complete overhead crane operating training module
Physical activity
involved:
- Extensive periods of standing, walking, stooping, and reaching.
- Repeated use of overhead crane.
- Use of laptop computer.
- Be able to lift parts weighing from a few ounces to 50 pounds; any lifting over 50 pounds use crane or hoist or ask for help.
