Coach(es): Plant Process Manager

Team member's role and responsibilities: 

• When jobs are released for production, coordinate the die preparation, steel cutting, hammer scheduling, hammer setup and dies/tooling availability to ensure "forge-by-dates" are met. 
• Notify Sales and all other affected departments when problems arise which could impact the ability of production to meet "forge-by dates". 
• Coordinate with shop supervisors on Die and Tooling Problems. 
• Create and update Shop Schedules. 
• Ensure the Shipping Department is working closely with Sales and Accounts Receivable Departments so all shipments are properly documented.

Rookie requirements: 

• Computer literate. 
• Superior communication skills. 
• Capable of reading drawings and working with complex written instructions. 
• Ability to work with multiple jobs and priorities to meet company goals. 
• A good understanding of how the steelyard, die prep, production, die shop and scheduling work together. 
• High school graduate or equivalent.

Physical activity involved: 

• Sitting, standing, walking, stooping, bending. 
• Working in hot and cold conditions. 
• Some prolonged periods of sitting in front of a PC.
