TFTP-MENG: Maintenance Engineer

Team member's role and responsibilities: 

• Plan and schedule routine maintenance of equipment. 
• Oversee troubleshooting diagnoses of time critical repairs. 
• Work to incorporate efficient methods of maintaining the useful life of equipment and machinery. 
• Work with others to anticipate and reduce costly breakdowns Improve overall safety processes. 
• Work as mentor to develop the maintenance technician's skills in electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic repairs. 
• Become familiar with TOPs Manual, especially those procedures that relate to the Maintenance Department

Rookie requirements: 

• High School graduate and at least ten years’ extensive maintenance experience. 
• Familiarity with the use of a maintenance management program (e.g. MP2). 
• A good understanding of electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment.

Physical activity involved: 

• Extensive walking, standing or climbing.
• Be able to lift 50 pounds; any lifting over 50 pounds use crane or hoist or ask for help. 
• Exposure to extreme weather conditions.
