Team member's role
and responsibilities:
- Supervise Die shop.
- Review
quality and production documentation and ensure Trinity Forge can meet
the customer's requirements based on the information provided.
- Work with Forging Engineers to develop designs to maximum Forge tooling performance.
- Provide
Guidance on Die Design and other tooling to be able to produce products
with minimal need for in-shop modifications.
- Provide Design review regarding tool manufacturability and reliability.
- Provide direct support for Production, Engineering, Machining, Sales, customers and suppliers.
- Optimize tooling design for increased production rates and extended die life.
Rookie requirements:
- Ability to relate well with all team members and departments.
- B.S. in Mechanical Engineering or five years of forging design experience.
- Quality, Supervisor, Machine shop experience a plus.
Physical activity
involved:
- Moderate walking and climbing stairs.
- Extensive periods of sitting and working with a personal computer.
- Exposure to heat.
