TFTP-DDIE: Die Shop Die Man

Team member's role
and responsibilities:
- Work closely with Leadman
so that work performed is one in accordance with shop schedule and to
the specification dictated.
- Retrieve steel block from
storage racks and place them on the proper machine to proceed with work
required such as cutting, boring, shanking, etc.
- Be attentive to machining
operation so that adjustments are made with specs.
- Carry out job assignments
in a safe and efficient manner.
- Discuss with Leadman any
questions regarding job assignment; to learn how to operate various
lathes and machines in die shop.
Rookie requirements:
Physical activity
involved:
- Prolonged periods of
standing; some walking, some bending and stooping.
- Some pushing and pulling of objects including turning die and die bar
up to 50 pounds - Any lifting over 50 pounds use crane or hoist or ask
for help.
