Team member's role
and responsibilities:
- Carry out custodial duties as assigned by Maintenance Supervisor.
- Learn cleaning requirements of all areas in the shop as well as the office.
- Work with all supervisors in helping maintain cleanliness.
- Work on "special" cleaning and minor repair assignments.
Rookie requirements:
- Some experience in custodial work preferred but not necessary.
Physical activity
involved:
- Extensive walking, bending, stooping, pulling and pushing objects weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Extensive lifting of trash bags, boxes and other garbage up to 50 lbs. and placing it in the dumpster.
- Ability to use heavy mop to clean large areas.
