Definition: Various types of metal and paper tags and stick-on labels are used throughout forging and/or machining process. Green tags for "Ready to Ship", yellow tags for "MPI Test" or "HOLD"  and red tags for "Rework". Notable are Steel Stickers (attached to bundle tags with the lot number, size, grade, heat code, weight, and vendor) and Disposition Tags (placing questionable parts on hold until a sample can be sent to the customer for their acceptance or rejection.)

Format: Commercially purchased metal tags and computer-printout sticky labels.
